This is a translation of the Spanish version of Platica's terms and conditions. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
These terms govern the use of the Platica platform and platic, its connector for artificial intelligence assistants. Platica is operated by CREACIÓN DE RIQUEZA S.A. DE C.V. (Mexican tax ID, RFC CRI130411KA6).
Service and account use
Platica is an AI customer service and messaging platform. Its features let you work with communications, contacts, campaigns and agents, depending on the service contracted and each workspace's permissions.
You must follow the service's instructions and policies, keep your account secure and have authorization to access the workspaces and data you work with. Available features depend on your plan, configuration and permissions.
Prohibited uses
You must not:
- Use the service for illegal or harmful activities or activities that violate other people's rights.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages.
- Access information you are not authorized to use or bypass access controls or permissions.
- Include passwords, API keys, authentication codes, government IDs, payment card data, health information, other sensitive personal data or data about minors in platic operations.
Authentication is handled through Platica's connection flow, rather than by sending credentials to the assistant.
Personal data and privacy
How account data, contacts, communications and documents are processed is described in our Privacy notice. You must have authorization and an applicable legal basis to add other people's data and request operations involving it.
The platforms you connect and the providers involved may receive the information needed for the requested features, as described in the notice. Secondary purposes, including promotional communications, are subject to the options and mechanisms in the notice. Accepting these terms does not replace any consent that may be required.
Artificial intelligence and data use
AI features process instructions, content, documents and results depending on the feature, configuration and permissions used. Adding knowledge documents or configuring instructions for an agent does not, by itself, amount to training a model.
Platica does not use workspace data or platic results to train artificial intelligence models, and does not authorize its providers to do so. Analytics, diagnostics, providers and data retention are described in the Privacy notice.
Review results and instructions before using them to make decisions or request actions. AI responses may contain errors and do not replace the checks needed for your activities.
Integrations and authorization
When you connect platic, you authorize access to the workspaces and operations permitted by your role and current authorization. Connecting an account does not, by itself, constitute an instruction to send messages, publish, modify or delete records. Actions are performed in accordance with your requests and the applicable authorization controls.
You must review the recipients, data and effects of the actions you request. Each AI platform has its own terms and controls; mentioning a platform does not mean Platica is approved or endorsed by it.
You can remove the connection from the platform you use and ask Platica to revoke access. Disconnecting platic does not automatically cancel your subscription or delete workspace data or copies kept by the connected platform. See the Privacy notice for retention and deletion.
Cancellation, payments and deletion
You can manage cancellation of your subscription through the available billing options. Canceling a subscription and deleting a workspace are separate processes.
Payment defaults may restrict campaigns and sending. The platform shows the service status and available actions to resolve them; suspension of sending must not be interpreted as automatic data deletion.
The owner can request workspace deletion when the service conditions are met. The process is scheduled with a 7-day period during which it can be canceled before it begins. Deletion runs in the background. Tax records and recovery copies may remain in accordance with the periods and exceptions in the retention annex.
If your workspace has an enterprise agreement or a deletion restriction, use the support channels.
Responsibility
You are responsible for your account's security, the information you add and having authorization for the actions you request. Use of the service and the parties' responsibilities are subject to these terms, applicable agreements and applicable law.
Changes to the terms
Platica may modify these terms. Changes will be published on this page, and you will be notified by email and within the platform before they take effect.
